I’ve been a creativity junkie for as long as I can recall.  I am the quintessential do-it-yourself girl, and a self-professed geek through and through.  Any hobby or craft, design work, or artform is fair game to me.  I’ve trained not only in photography, but also web and multimedia design.   Creativity is my life’s blood, and whether I’m photographing or writing, sewing or painting, designing or building, I experience bliss every time I unleash my imagination on a new project.

Photography is in my blood.  It’s who I am, it’s where I come from.  Holding a camera has been second nature to me all my life.  Each time I raise my camera to my eye, the world just melts away, and all that exists is this moment.  Nothing else matters, only the scene I view through my lens.  It’s the beginning, the middle, and the end.

My passion for art and all things creative spills over into all other areas of my life.  I find joy in the everyday, beauty where others pass by.  I am mommy to two beautiful little girls, who are the center of my world and enthusiastically share my view on creativity and life.  Their images turn up rather frequently in my portfolio and on my blog, so you’re sure to see them regularly.  Any spare time I manage to scare up is easily filled – I devour books, I love to scrapbook, and I always have at least twenty creative projects running.
